More letters in a text

Hi all

Since having a new s20 to replace my old s20, i now have a limit on my letter count for my text messages? Why is this and can i change it to like it was with no limit?

Does it stop you from exceeding the limit or does it just show a limit.
Usually there is a character limit which shows you when a single text message will be charged, or sent as 2 messages. But it never actually stops you, is this what you're experiencing?

It stops me and a message pops up to say i have reached the maximum! Ive never had tgis before. Ive looked through the message settings and cant find anything.

And just to confuse the situation abit more... it only happens when i text certain people??

Do you get some conversations with blue bubbles or are they always green? Just trying to work out the problem as to why its doing it to some people
