Microphone not working using earphones connected through USB type C DAC

Bought a samsung s20. I have a usb type c adapter for headphones.

When I connect the headphones and make a phone conversation my sound isn’t heard on the other side. I hear sound but my voice isn't heard.

What should I do?

Hi,
please try on a different phone and see if the same thing happens of not it's the phone problem and if the same thing happens on a different phone then it's the headphone problem.

does headphones support phonecalls? during the phonecalls check volume

I have the same problem. It looks like the internal mic is switched off when USB C headphones are plugged in. I'd like this fixed if possible as I use aux into truck stereo for work, and everyone I get a call I have to use the phone speaker to make the mic work. This means I struggle to hear the conversation. This used to work with a proper 3.5mm jack. I'm really unhappy about having to find work-arounds to things that never used to be a problem.
