I've not experienced any battery drain due to the update but that said phone's are set up differently with different apps,  app preferences,  different phone preferences and branded and unbranded phone's have slightly different software on them.

Please do check in your phone's Device Care Section and under Battery to see what's using battery.

Also as a generic troubleshooting tip try clearing your phone's System Cache Files. No information is lost this way.

Clear your phone's System Cache Files by turning your phone Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone's System Files and clear the cache. No information is lost this way. You may need to insert your headphones or hook upto a computer with your data cable to get to this menu on the phone.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

As you can see here, perfectly normal battery. That decline at the start, ah good times. Never been so shocked and blindsided by a 5% warning before when it was fully charged just hours before.

That 9hr 40mins on 59% made me laugh. Good times. Good times 😌 I'm saying it as like it's in present tense or a something. It's not sadly.

Ever since I got the One UI 3.1 update on my S20 Plus, the battery life has actually been improved a lot.
