2 step verification code goes to the wrong number

Hi. My account got blocked, and it asked me to reset my password. I can do that successfully because I can send the code to one of 2 numbers, or my email address.

Then when I try and log in, it only gives me the option of one number to send the verification code to. And that number no longer exist. If I can only get it to send the code to my email or current number (which is loaded on my account already).  But it seems I cant. I tried creating a different account with another email, but it wont work on my phone because its already registered with the current account.

I cant see any way around this. I can't even wipe and reset my phone because I need to log into samsung first. This is the worse 2 factor authentication design I have ever seen. How do I get back into my account if I cant change the wrong number they send the coed to?????

I have had similar experience and after numerous calls to them they have made it worse and I still cannot use either of the accounts I had or create a new one.

i have the same issue on my Galaxy Note 10, tried removing the account but have to sign into my samsung account first.

Hi, I have been having so much trouble finding a solution to this problem and your advice helped. I originally tried logging into my phone multiple times to where it wanted to call my old number to verify. I did what you mentioned on the computer instead and I followed the steps to where I was able to change old number to knew number and just letting everyone know that option was all the way down at the bottom of the page.

Samsung will want to verify that the device which is my phone is mine and will ask for an emei number and another number. All you have to do is go onto your settings on your phone and type in emei for instance and your phone will take you right to that number.

Thank you very much for your help. I was to a point where I was going to call samsung because even the samsung chat person was not clear enough on helping.
