Galaxy S10 SeriesJust upgraded from S7 to S10+ and used alarm for the first time this morning. Even at low volume it was so loud that I tweaked my neck when it shocked me out of sleep! 😫 Then I shocked my wife awake with my girlish scream. 😳 What happened to the "gradual increase" option? Why remove a great optional feature like that Samsung? It took less that 24 hours for "new and improved" to become a literal pain in my neck!

Galaxy S10 SeriesWait, I'm getting the opposite problem. I have the gradual volume increase but it actually causes me to sleep through the alarm, and I don't know how to change it

Galaxy S10 SeriesGuys, It is too complex for Samsung programmers to give us this (in old times basic) feature.
We need more restrictions instead - more music volume limiting which should protect our ears (go ***** yourself!!). Less menu options everywhere, because they know better than users and all people are the same, so why put more options.

Galaxy S10 SeriesI know this has been gone for a while, but it's still irritating me. We have had that function for years. Why take it away now? It feels like Samsung is just determined to turn into Apple.

Galaxy S10 SeriesReally! The gradually increasing volume feature is clutch! Finally upgraded from S7 to S10e as the size of the phone is actually reasonable, and super annoyed that this basic feature is no longer available. The other setting that needs to be brought back is the single radio button to disable notifications for ALL apps at once. Is it really necessary to have me disable EVERY single app 1-by-1?? AND then remember to do so after every update as it's the nature of updated apps to re-enable notifications...? Please fix this.

Galaxy S10 SeriesI currently use the LAVA song from the disney pixar shrot film. It starts out as waves then slowly adds a guitar. Love the way it wakes me up.

I wanted to chime in. I just upgraded from and S9 to an S20. I noticed in an update on the S9 mt alarms were suddenly louder and annoying. When I got my S20 last week I was hoping this feature was included and sad to see it's not. Im going to look into another alarm app with gradual volume.

Galaxy S10 SeriesJust got the note 10+ and the gradual alarm is gone for my husband and I and I hate it. It was such a nice feature. Blaring sound is not the way to wake up especially after so many years of using the gradual option that Samsung provided. Bring it back please!!!!

Galaxy S10 SeriesI also do not understand why they remove such things. Whats really perplexing is why we are never told about such changes. I don't think i changed phones when this happend so i have no idea what fix/upgrade got rid of the gradual increase. First, i find it absolutely unconsionable that it was removed at all. Apps don't remove functioality unless there is a good reason. Second, it should be explained in detail why it was removed. In my experience as a software developer, when the upgrade process is beginning one would be warned with a message such as THIS ALARM xyz THAT YOU HAVE SET AS "gradual increase" WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPORTED or something like that. It makes you wonder, did they even know that feature was there? Did some rouge developer decide he did not like it and he just deleted that feature? It would be funny if this was one time but i have an entire list of times that features are removed. Many of them causing real problems with apps used in business. And a whole other list of times navigation was changed for no reason.
