Hi my s10 did a system up date this morning now when i go to clear system cache partion i switch off my phone then press the volume up button. The bixby button. the on/off button altogether like i used to but since updste its not doi g it just keeps switching my phone on but not getting the blue android screen up for the options to clear cache. Also the edge lightening not working on my apps now

Hmm - on mine when you go Settings - Notifications you get the two options side by side at top of screen for " Brief " or Detailed " then immediately underneath is " Included Apps " as long as you have Brief selected
If not there if you go Settings - Apps you should get a list of all your apps - can check the each of the apps you want notifications from and allow notifications
in each of them

Yes, my galaxy s10 plus updated with android 11/ui3.0 this morning. Everything looks so far so good but I am keeping an eye on battery life.

You need to use the charge cable for the phone and connect phone to your computer - after a few moments the phone will start charging - at that point then do the hold volume up and power buttons as before . ( you don't need to do anything on the computer as such )

Is a change they made in the update ( Android 11 ) - have no idea at all why they changed it ( although maybe just a safety thing so no one tries it when their phone is nearly out of charge but that's just an assumption on my part )

i did that where you select a colour for each app but im only getting the edge lightening for text messages mot for the apps ive chosen

Sorry - should have said once phone connected to computer switch phone off as before then press the buttons etc
