Galaxy S10 SeriesHello readers,
I have a problem with an unwanted filter on my pictures.
I use a 4 month old Samsung Galaxy S10.
I've already chatted with the Dutch Samsung helpdesc for weeks, we disabled every possible beauty- filter manualy, but it still makes my pictures look weird. They don't know what else to do and say "It's just the way the camera works, most people like this camera adjustment". But I just can't believe that...
Below a preview: I take a picture with the modus "motion photo" on.
After that I make a screenshot from within the motion photo, and then the filter is not on it. The skintone looks much more realistic and the filter on the eyes is gone. So weird!
I hope someone knows what to do with this!
And again: beauty filters are definetly off.
Kind regards, Suze

Galaxy S10 SeriesHi there!
I'm from the Netherlands as well
Did you already try to put the beauty mode off?
That might help. It's also possible to turn scene optimizers off from the settings which tries to "optimize" the look and feel (But is far less agressive than the beauty mode ).

Galaxy S10 SeriesHi!
Yeah all those functions are off.
Scène optimalisatie = off
Beauty filters = off
Color filters = off

Galaxy S10 SeriesYeah... unfortunately even if you turn everything off there still is some beauty things which will remain active under the hood and there is nothing you and i can do apart from leaving this as a feedback....
Maybe pro mode does not have than but i am not sure

Galaxy S10 SeriesI'm so bummed about this 😞
Such an expensive A-class mobile phone, and the pictures that come out of it are rubbish.... so weird that google isn't full of complaints about this.

Galaxy S10 Seriesjust figured this one out because I had the same exact problem. Its a separate button on the top of the screen right next to the beauty filter button instead of somewhere in the settings.

Galaxy S10 SeriesThat button you circled is a "motion photo" option. Im not sure I'm translating That correctly, in Dutch Its called "bewegingsfoto".
When i disable That function, the problem stays the same.

Galaxy S10 SeriesIt won't help with the pictures you've already taken but it should help with pictures you take in the future. Solved the problem for me.

Galaxy S10 SeriesUpdate! I'm wrong only using the flash seems to help! If anybody else figures this one out let me know. Possibly using pro mode with a faster shutter speed?
