Setting notifications to vibrate when sound on

I can't set my notifications to vibrate when sound is on. I want my phone to ring and notifications vibrate.

I have tried using the extended sound settings. When the phone is on vibrate and I try to turn the ringer on, my notifications are automatically turned silent. I can turn notification sounds on, but not vibrate.

I used to be able to do this, am I missing something obvious??

use the drop down menu .... you should see a speaker 🔊.. if it in blue then the sound is on ... if the speaker has a wavy line next to it ... its on vibrate and if grayed out is on silent... just tap the speaker 🔊 to activate the 3 different settings

Thank you but this does not answer my question. I know how to change my device's sound mode. But when device sound is on I cannot set my notifications to vibrate, only silent or sound. I want my phone to ring and my notifications to vibrate.

This is a big limitation. I also have the same issue. Should be fixed.
