I got the One UI 2.0 update 2 days ago on my Galaxy S10e (model SM-G970F/DS, security patch level 1 Dec 2019 software version G970FXXU3BSKO/G970FOXM3BSKO/G970FXXU3BSKL).
When charging via cable the phone gets warmer than it would be before the update and when charging wireless (with an original Samsumg wireless charger unit) both the phoneand charger get uncomfortably hot. I stopped using wireless charging.
As the size of screen interface has increased after the update, the navigation buttons are now overlapping the screen and the status bar has become so small that it is hard to read.
Is there a way to revert to UI 1.0 so I can test if the phone still overheats on wireless charge?

Hi @lmarijn
I would suggest to send your feedback concerning how the phone now looks via the Samsung Members App so it get directly sent to the Samsung Developers.
May I assume there isn't a case on the phone that could cause less heat dissipation when charging?
Are you normal charging or fast charging may I ask ?
Once you've updated I'm afraid you can't revert back via Samsungs options.
The only option is a Custom Rom but that can bring it's own issues like accidentally using the wrong Rom and an unstable phone or even worse a non working one.
You could try clearing the phones system files cache by turning the phone off and then from a set series of button presses clear the cache.
Or as a very last resort back up and factory reset.
Disclaimer 》 a person attempts downloading and using a Custom Rom at their own informed decision.

Thanks for you reply.
I am using the offical Samsung cover (flip cover) that I bought together with the phone and wireless charging with cover never resulted in a excessive heat. The phone gets hot during charging at bottom left corner and lower left edge.
I use fast charging on cable and wireless.
Switching off and off didn't resolve the issue and neither did clearing the cache.
Will follow your suggestion of backing up and do a factory reset.

You're very welcome @lmarijn for my reply.
Fast charging will cause more heat but shouldnt be excessive.
If all else fails I'd suggest to use a Samsung Experience Store / Samsung Service Centre to have a diagnostic test on the phone .

I Have similar with the S10+ after the same update, cable charging is fine but wireless charging after 10 mins gets very hot.
I have been using a wireless stand for months with the old firmware and no issues, I can't risk leaving it in there now for more than 10 mins, back to the lead now for charging.
