Today my camera stopped working. I'm on a s10 plus. Mayor update this last night
When opening the camera app it says error the camera doesn't work
When opening on Facebook the front facing camera works but not the rear one.
When entering the menu via *#0*# and tries to check the camera it says the same kind of stuff
Never never dropped the phone its brand new
Worked yesterday
Tried everything soft reset hard reset canceling app remove cache and data updating g everything
What happend?
Can you guys help me. Is this related to an update?

I've just had a similar issue today with the S10 ,message came up that security policy was restricting use of camera and camera was not functioning at all- no previous issues. However all seems fine with security settings and had the latest updates. When I ran the checks on the Members app it identified an issue with the sensor. However the camera seems to be working ok after a factory reset ,checks came up fine. Will keep an eye on it mind you.

I have the exact same issue. Each time I try tonopen the camrea it says warning camera failed! I have done a factory reset and all the other steps you and others suggested.
I tried *#0*# and the issue occurred again when with the mega cam at the 3rd step

Whats the *#0*# test. Im getting front camera problems, camera was good, even better on Snapchat now terrible, I got rid of another expensive Samsung before when camera done similar, I'm seriously considering getting i phones in future, I've cleared cache etc, lost all pictures trying to resolve this, and had shot time retrieve my study materials, took two full days , I was in tears, this issue alway happens, but not had phone that long, since summer, very pricey phone as well s10 large
