For the last week or so I have been having issues where apps are not updating or installing via Google Play Store. The update\install downloads to anything from 35-100% and just stall. I had 42 apps requiring update.
Apps are fine updated\installed via Samsung Store.
I have done all the troubleshooting suggested by both Samsung and Google. Nothing worked.
In the end I did a factory reset. After doing a restore of a backup all apps reinstalled and all updated correctly. However some apps were missing and I'm still having issues when I try to install. Again it will get to anything from 35-100% downloaded and then just stop. Occasionally an app will eventually install a few hours later.
Anyone else seen this recently?

I have the exact same problem. Been happening for a few days. I've done everything except a factory reset. Very frustrating.

Just wait it out. It will still start working again at some point!

Very annoying.
After some investigation, I tried without some features after a factory reset:
- Don't use SD Card
- Disabled battery & memory optimiztion.
- Uninstall Galaxy Wearable app, and don't pair my Galaxy Frontier S3 watch.
- Install only the basic apps I needed.
The most of the time, the phone works as expected, but some days it doesnt' update apps.
Is this the way a 1009€ phone should work? I don't think so.

Very annoying! Noticed this happening after a system update about a month ago.
Samsung! Fix this! A flagship smartphone should not have issues downloading, installing or updating ANY app. I've stood by your product since the first Galaxy. Don't let me down now!

I am having the same problem on my S10+. I have done multiple factory resets. I have taken the phone into the Samsung Authorized Service Center and they reloaded the firmware/OS. The issue came back within a few days. Yesterday the Samsung Authorized Service Center replaced the motherboard and the issue returned within a few hours. I have tried everything. It is so frustrating.

I have had the same problem for weeks. The only thing that worked was to clear the cache partition, but that only lasted a few days and now the same problem is returning after the android 10 update.

Yes, often after an update the cache partition needs to be wiped again : Why isn't the partition cache wiped automatically after an android update ?

I'm having the same issue. Did a factory reset, helped for a few days...

I've found that the less intrusive cache partition wipe works, again for a few days, then you have to do it again.
