Photos deleted from today but not found in recycle bin

@Jadine85: Did you delete the photos from your Gallery and, if so, was Recycle Bin activated at the time, and visible as an option by tapping the 3 dots in the top right of the Gallery app > Recycle Bin? If you tap the 3 dots > Settings, is 'Sync with Samsung Cloud' enabled? If the images aren't present in the recycle bin or Samsung Cloud then please check Google photos by going to Apps > Google (folder) > Photos, to see if an archive of your images has been saved here.

I am having the same problem, recycle bin is active. When I delete it asked if wanted file move to recycle bin, so click 'move to recycle bin' but when I look in there, the file is not listed. Other files are there but no image files. Please help!

Update: if I delete an image file from within 'My Files' app, it asks if want to move them to the recycle bin and they actually appear there when I look. But deleting from the 'Gallery' app does not work. The setting is enabled, as proved by the prompt when deleting. But they are not in the recycle bin afterwards, so I have just lost some important images from today! Is it possible to get them back? And how do we report this serious bug to the developers?

Update: it seems only PDF files and WhatsApp audio files are in my recycle bin. It is not working for text messages either. I have checked the 'use recycle bin' option in every place to ensure its on, but as mentioned previously, it prompts me to use recycle bin when I delete any file. And to be honest, I'm sure the PDF files I mentioned were deleted via 'My Files' anyway! So I'm pretty sure it not working for me in general sad 😕. Please help...
