One UI 3.0 edge panel organisation

Using my S10 with the new One UI 3, there appears to be no longer any way to rearrange app icons in the edge panel?

You now have to enter them in the exact order you want them and if you want to rearrange them you have to write everything and start over??

I have the note 10+ and I have just tried to rearrange icons, just long press and move the icon to the place you want it, don't move it to far over the home screen though or it will try and open a multi screen window

It was jumping to split screen whatever I did, I just restarted my phone and can now do it if I'm very gentle and very fast

phones can be so temperamental lol
