hi guys. just looking for advice. i have my galaxy s10 for about almost a year and suddenly this moisture detected starts showing. now i cannot charhe my phone via cable. android auto in the car is nor working aswell. i got the phone from vodafone on a 2 year contract.

the phone has never been near any water since i bought it. i try to dry, use a hair dryer still no luck ended up to doing a soft reset and a full factory reset but issue is the same.

on weird thing is after a few restart the moisture detection disappear but the phone is not doing a fast charge. it always stay to cable charging, tried to unplug and replug the cable again the moisture notification is back and it wont charge 😞

@Vins20

Can you take your phone to a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre  ?

For how long has the phone been showing the Moisture Detected message?

Water will naturally dry or evaporate from the USB charging port within approximately 1 to 2 hours. Gently shake the device and/or blow into the USB charging port to help remove water or moisture from the port.

Also try: Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Find USBSettings app > tap Storage > tap Clear data.

If you’re still having problems, you'd need get the phone inspected by one of our engineers.

Had the same problem and because my phone (S10e) was still under warranty they sent it away to a repair centre and replaced the main board.
