Since Android 11 update the messages app no longer has an option to turn off trash. Very annoying. No real solution other than to try a different app. I've tried to downgrade however it fails to install likely due to ASOP code written for 11 and beyond all have this feature turned on.
If anyone has any other suggestions for downgrade please post.
