Hello folks,
I have noticed that when the screen is locked, all I get is the sound notification. No messages, pop-up appears untill I unlock the screen. I tried to turn ON/OFF Edge lightining, but it is woking only if the screen is unlocked!
In settings I have:
1) Notifications > App Icon Badges > ON
2) Edge Lightning ON > Show Edge Lightning (tried ALWAYS, working only when the screen is unlocked) >Manage Notifications - All available apps > Edge Lightning Interactions is also ON
3) Lock Screen > Notifications > ON > View Style (Tried every option) > Hide Content OFF
I also tried this settings: "If you go to Settings > Lock Screen and Security > Notifications > On > Hide Content > Off > Notification Icons Only > Off, this should add lock screen notifications to your device" it did not help.
The question is, is it a software issue or its a hardware bug and I should bring my device to a service? I am also found out that a lot of people facing this issue even since Samsung s9 and issue remains the same.
Can someone advise some troubleshooting steps which might help?
