Keyboard language problem

I've just upgraded from s6 to s10. I've gone into settings and in language and input I've selected English and French.  However when I use any apps or text I cannot switch between languages on the keyboard (in the past I could swipe on the space bar to switch language and keyboard layout

@KarenAdam: It is still possible to swipe the space bar left or right to change any selected languages on the Samsung keyboard. If you are currently unable to do this then please go to Settings > General Management > Language and Input > On Screen Keyboard > Samsung Keyboard > Languages and Types > Ensure that English (UK) and Francais (FR) are selected > If you see an 'Update' prompt next to either language option, select it and proceed with the update. Does this resolve your query?

I just bought a Samsung  S10e and want to add Portuguese to the Samsung keyboard input but it is not listed as an option and there is no option to download it.  There is very limited number of languages available.   Is there a way to add Portuguese?

Hi @David996 If you go to Settings > General Management > Language and input, tap on the + Add language  and Portugese should be an option there.

CarlH, I go to Settings > General management  > Language and input  > On-screen keyboard  > Samsung Keyboard > Languages and types  > Manage input languages,  and Portuguese is not there with no way to add it.  This on the S10e.

Same problem with my S10 in Canada - in the Samsung keyboard there are no additional languages and no way to add them. Had to install different keyboard app to address the issue. Definetely a bug.

Downloaded Gboard from the App store. Just search for "keyboard" - there are many available.
