Fingerprint sensor awakes with message "keep your finger on the sensor a little longer" without touching the phone.

Im using the "original" screen cover and double tap to wake up off, screen sensibility off.

The screen is clean and the phone keeps waking up with the fingerprint sensor on and showing the keep your finger.. message on the screen.

And if I have double tap wake up On, the phone is always waking up on the pocket (but this is being already discussed on the threads)

Hey @Edpais

Do you have on body detection on on your phone?

It can be found in the Smart Lock Settings.

Hi Tracy.

Thank you for your message, but body detection is off, just checked.

Hey @Edpais

Thanks for checking On Body Detection settings.

Try a soft reboot, to do this, press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons until your phone restarts.

Has it been happening since you got your phone or has it started recently?

Can you do a quick hardware test?

Head over to the dial pad and type in *#0*#, then select 'Sensor Hub Test', this will lock your screen, unlock your phone and then let me know what it says on the screen following the test.

Thanks for checking, I've got a few more tests for you to do:

In the hardware test menu (*#0*#) select 'Sensor'

  • Select 'Graph' to the right of where it says 'Gyroscope Sensor', do this when your phone is flat on a desk, does the graph have any spikes in it, or is it just a flat line? Double tap the back key to go back to the sensor test screen.
  • Then at the bottom, select 'Fingerprint Test - Normal Scan', does this test pass?

Let me know the results. :sun-with-face:

Hi Tracy

The Gyroscope Sensor stays flat all the time.

The Fingerprint test pass almost all.
The second line where says BGE_CAL_CHECK shows this (-)

Everything else passed.
