Enable screen recorder on Game Launcher?

Hi there,

I am usually doing a lot of mobile gaming. Had an S9 before and now got a S10e. 

I usually used the game launcher to record my screen, but I don't see the option to record it whilest gaming now (ingame). 😞 

I checked all the seetings, but I couldnt find anything. May someone can tell me if I have to disable something?

Hey, 

I dont know if the problem has been fixed for you, but you usually just add the app to the game launcher and it should be on the toggle bar on the left corner, but after the recent update i think that they might have removed this feature...

I'll be sure to give this another look and come back because it just happened to me aswell.

I found it.
After the new update, if you swipe the notification bar down twice, you can look for a button that says screen record, If you press it, then it will record the screen for you and when you press that button again or the notification bar or the tool at the top right, then it will stop recording

Haha I was amazed aswell, its such an odd place to put the screen record button, but
I guess at the end it does make sense.

This seems ridiculous to me. I record hackers whenever I find them in pubgm, and now by the time I've pressed record I've missed it. Before it was a quick swipe from the edge of the screen and one tap if screen record was selected as your hotkey. It's not practical for when you want to record quickly ingame.

This this the exact reason I had to search for an answer!  It's such a clumsy way of doing it, and the recording options just get in the way of my on-screen buttons.

Plus, it now stops recording after a certain file size which it didn't do before, so I've now got matches that aren't recorded to the end.

This is indeed very true. The old way to record was way better, but I dont think that we can so something about this... Id love to see the game launcher screen recorder comming back

I have same ur situation and i don't know why they removed record sceen from new update.in other my phone S7 still available record but in Galaxy S9+ none.

Galaxy team can u fix this issue please,we need that record screen back.
