Cursor jumping while texting

Hi hopefully someone can help. I've had my s10+ since launch and everything has been perfect but all of a sudden over the last few days whenever I start writing a text the cursor keeps jumping to the beginning. I've tried clearing data and cache, even installed gboard but didn't help and it's so frustrating. Only seems to happen while in messages, tried in browser, Samsung note, WhatsApp and all is fine.

it was literally driving me insane! Every 2 seconds I had to recorrect cursor focus!

I solved mine after over a year of agonizing wondering whether to give this fone away or not. I found this solution after seeing someone post his answer but didn't work on mine but along that thought I had a better solution and it worked finally. I also saw some bits of this on google. Here is the way to put an end to when your fone jumps to other programs when you mistype a letter: General Management>>> Samsung Keyboard Settings>>> Swipe, Touch, and Feedback>>> No swipe gestures

I experienced the problem of "cursor jumping while texting" and "cursor jumping while voice to texting." All of my efforts to fix the issue by changing settings within the phone failed. I shut down the phone and waited for 20 seconds, re-booted the phone, and voila!... problem solved!

I just started experiencing this with my S8, only does this in messenger, every other app is fine. I tried calling samsung and they pretty much told me they had no idea what was going on and to take it to a store. None of the things mentioned worked and it's extremely frustrating to be typing out a text to have the cursor go back to the top and then minimize my keyboard. Started happening out of nowhere.

My husband and I are both having this on our S8 phones, started out of the blue a week ago.  Sometimes shutting down helps.  I completely factory reset my phone yesterday and it is still happening - very annoying.

Disable the grammar check (not spell check) in keyboard settings. You can also select it to only work on selective apps.
