Chat settings disappeared

My chat settings not working.  Just vanished without me doing anything. I can still send and receive sms as normal but no blue bubbles, read receipts and typing dots to be seen. Hope this issue gets resolved quickly as having chat settings working although not detrimental to using phone, it's rather handy to have.  Regards, KW

I had this problem. I'd disabled the google chat app. Once I'd enabled it to work again I clicked on chat settings and a pop up appeared asking me to turn on Chat Feature services. Agree to this and your chat settings will now work.
