Galaxy S10 SeriesSo, the HDR+ video convertion from the gallery to other apps looks so bland and awful.
Here's an example of the original video recorded in HDR+ seen in the gallery (GIF):
Here's an example of the same HDR+ video converted to the standard dynamic range shared in one app (GIF) :

Galaxy S10 SeriesHello there! Please note that apps like WhatsApp and Instagram do NOT support HDR10+. The result of this is incorrect saturation, and a slight green tinge. Try to use the Gallery app itself to convert your videos back to Standard Dynamic Range.
By the way, YouTube supports HDR10+ videos.

Galaxy S10 SeriesYou mean this?
I can't find other setting to convert the HDR10+ video to standard dynamic range.
The issue is that if share i converted HDR10+ videos from the gallery to whatsapp, messenger etc, they still look washed out, even tho they've been converted to the standard dynamic range.

Galaxy S10 SeriesIf that's the case, please refrain from using the HDR10+ mode if you are intending to share the video. The colours are, of course, inaccurate because there's a complete different amount of colours involved with both modes, and converting them isn't fully compatible. Hope you understand!

Galaxy S10 SeriesUhhhh then what's the point? We record videos to share. I have over 100 videos that are now worthless and embarrassing to share because they look like *****. This is awful and has been a major problem for a long time.

Galaxy S10 SeriesYoutube does not support it. Neither does Facebook. The two biggest video platforms. 🤦♂️HDR video upload preview on Youtube.

Galaxy S10 SeriesSame problem here, it is indeed really bad. I understand how HDR+ works and this can be done much better. Hope Samsung will notice this and do something about it.
