App drawer - set cursor/focus in search bar

Is it possible, that when the app drawer is opened, that the cursor is set in search bar, such that I do not have to press the search bar first in order to be able to enter what I'm searching for?

It is unnecessary complexity to first swipe down (to open the app drawer) and then secondly to press the search bar, in order to have the keyboard opening for input.

Please consider - thanks

Not when you pull it down. You do have the option to add a widget to the home screen that opens it to the text bar immediately.

Pull down the app drawer and click the 3 dots on the finder bar, finder setting>add finder

You will be able to click an icon on the home screen for the action you want.

Ok, thanks.

I don't have the "Add finder" option, though.

Could be that it's only available in certain regions?

Everything i find says you should have that option. But since you dont you can still add it using an app from the play store. Activity launcher
