annoying notification noise when do not disturb turns on as scheduled

Is there a way to turn off the noise notificaton when do not disturb starts as scheduled on an s10+, it's only started since the last update and it's irritating the beejeezus out of me.

I have also noticed this since upgrading to Android 10. Really annoying & slightly ironic that Do Not Disturb now wakes me up when it turns on!

I've had that issue off & on in the last few months & have yet to find a reason why or how to fix. Has anyone made progress in this yet?

Have got so fed up with Samsung, i have this issue as well, set do not disturb to scheduled and notifications still come through. Loads of posts on here about it and it is just ignored as usual. Service is atrocious.

Totally agree. 

I have do not disturb on schedule at 11pm and disturbs me every night just as I am trying to get to sleep. How Stupid is this?

Hopefully someone from samsung reads these and can put it on a fix list.

You have to go into "do not disturb" settings, then go to "allow exceptions", and then change "calls from" and "messages from" to "none"

That defeats the purpose of allowing special contacts to get through.

Settings > Modes and Routines > 3-dot Menu Button (top right) > Settings > Notifications > "Silent"
