Note 9 Auto-restart

This phone already has the option, but it's to only auto restart the phone once a week. What I want is a scheduled turn off and back on again period like Huawei have. I've just come from the P20 Pro and loved this feature and also the fact that I can see my download speed in the notification tray. This feature should also be included.

This is indeed a feature that would be nice. We've passed this idea as a suggestion for our R&D team. We'll let you know when we have an update on this!

I can set the phone to auto restart up to 7 days a week.  But I set mine to require a password after restart. How do I turn that off?

Try this one... 

Settings > Biometrics and Security > Secure Startup > Set to Do not Require.  

I  had the same problem when I first got my Note 9 and set it for weekly reboots.  Every time, I'd have to put my code back in.  I turned this off and haven't had to do it since then.  Still have to use the Facial scan or Fingerprint but not the pin number at first.  

Now if I reboot the phone myself, it still requires a pin number imput before it will continue.
