You can set your phone to auto update via Settings > Software Update or manually check by using the first option.

Other than that you'll need to periodically check in your software update section to see if the update has been pushed to you or just let your phone tell you when it's ready.

The Samsung One Ui is sent out in batches to phones and is driven by the phones serial and build number and country of origin.

Samsung phones supplied directly by a network are branded so typically the networks want to test the firmware update first to ensure it does not clash with anything on their network etc and then after testing they allow Samsung to push out the update.

Usually networks won't comment on timeframes for firmware rollout.

Neither will Samsung apart from recently when theybadvjsed the month they'd be sending out the update to Samsung phones supplied directly by them known as unbranded phones.

Hope that helps.

Yup but dont do it or at least go and read the complaints in the forums as a lot of people hate the update (in one of them im even trying to get my money back from them) just have a read up first as once you upgrade you cant go back. Ive tryed.

I have the note 9 512g snapdragon version and Since I can tell the phone never auto downloaded updates to the system patch or even the android pie I don't know what could be a problem since auto update are turned on ,Maybe bad wifi? But I do manual check then update ,Is there any sort of after how many days the update should be installed automatically ???
