Clean Apps

Couldn't find what I was looking for so posting this. What happens if I "clean apps". Does this mean my apps will be wiped of any info I've stored in them? 😮

If you go into settings , apps, tap on the app in question then storage you have two options.

Clean Cache which cleans the 'cache files' that have accrued  but does not lose app stored info.

Clean Data which cleans the app info and loses info stored in it.

That's in my experience anyway.

Thank you. That has helped put my mind at rest. I was worried I'd lose my settings.
