Have you ever been able to pair up both devices ?
Assuming there's no compatibility issues then perhaps try deleting any cache tyle files in your bluetooth application on the phone and try again.
Bose may also be able to help.
They helped me when I was having some issues with a set of Bose Bluetooth Headphones.
