Any one know what this is all about

Watching a film on my note 9 and all of a sudden the brightness dimmed and this little clock appeared in the bottom right hand corner, ticking away. I turned the screen off and back on and it disappeared. Had the phone for nearly 3 years and never seen it before.

it's a screensaver, go into Display settings (you may need to tap advanced in Display Settings) and then turn off the screensaver

Just checked and screensaver is off so it wasn't that, I come put the film i was watching and was still there, didnt go until I shut the phone off an back on again. Weird

which app are you watching the film in? it might be something in the settings of that. it seems an odd feature to implement but you never know...
