Smart view connections

Hi, I have galaxy note 20 ultra that I have been trying to connect my Sony Brivia TV via smart view but phone does not find the TV while searching. I have also tried via WiFi direct and my phone finds my TV but when I click start smart view on phone it seems it is connecting TV but after a while it just stop. My daughter who has samsung S8, I tried her phone and it not only picked up the tv straight away but also connected with smart view. Any advise please? I have tried restarting my phone and also TV but it doesn't make any difference. Thank you.

Hey @KR1 ,

can I ask what software version is your daughter S8 running on? Is it the same as your Note 20 Ultra one? You can check this by heading into the phone Settings> About phone> Software information.

Thank you TessM. She has One UI version 1.0 amd I have 3.1. And her Andriod version 9 and I have 11. it may bey the version that is not compatible with smart view. Thank you
