Note 20 Ultra Speaker Picking Background Noise Issues

Facing much problem in whatsapp and messenger call. Too much Background noise being picked up by my speaker of Note 20 Ultra which is bothering the person at the other end. Downloaded latest security patch, did several restarts and also a regular reset. No change. Things seem fine while talking via phone and Bluetooth headsets, but really bad in speaker, especially in the third party apps. So disappointed. Found many people facing similar problem in another forum.  Please pick this issue Samsung and provide an immediate fix for this via an update. This is really sad.

I have the exact problem WhatsApp video calls can hear YouTube if not that, then a high pitch  coil whine, bit like when you put two phones together on call and you get a high pitch sound fade in and out.

Exactly. They should pick this issue and resolve this immediately. This is unacceptable in a phone of this price.

I have a similar problem that happens when my boyfriend and I are talking and watching a tv show at the same time. Loud clicking and screeching noises. We've been doing this on several phones for the last 3 years and this is the only phone we've had the problem with. Sure is annoying.

Same issue here. Intermittent background noises when listening music and/or phone calls. Very dissapointed with my new Samsung device, being an old loyal Samsung's customer. Now need to send the device to repair, with all the time & money issues related to it.

I'm having the same problem with Messenger. Everyone on the call hears an echo. Anyone got a solution yet? I got my Note Ultra 5G a month ago and I'm thinking of returning it. This is very frustrating for a flagship.

I have the same problem, less with third party apps though and more with calls directly through the phone app. On handset audio it is crystal clear. If switched to speaker phone within the call, the person at the other end says they can hear a screeching/fading high pitch whine. Thought it may just be my handset but I see there are a few that are having issues with the same issue... This needs resolving and fast 😕
