Note 20 Ultra Speaker Picking Background Noise Issues

Facing much problem in whatsapp and messenger call. Too much Background noise being picked up by my speaker of Note 20 Ultra which is bothering the person at the other end. Downloaded latest security patch, did several restarts and also a regular reset. No change. Things seem fine while talking via phone and Bluetooth headsets, but really bad in speaker, especially in the third party apps. So disappointed. Found many people facing similar problem in another forum.  Please pick this issue Samsung and provide an immediate fix for this via an update. This is really sad.

I experience this STATIC NOISE constantly through the earphones that came with it.. i have bought new earphones too dodnt help.. my cheap bluetooth earpods dnt have it.. whyyyyyyy samsung why ??

Some one suggested to master reboot the device and it works..haven't tried it yet.. 😞

Same issue here. The voice is great using handset / bluetooth. When switching to speaker the person on the other side of the call says that he cant hear me due to poor sound quality and massive background noises. HELP

Can you solve this problem ? becaue I search internet and I found several same case problem and I think this is a big problem from Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G and I dont know why Samsung still sell continue ??? !!! because at the first they should solve issue and then countinue sell Note20 Ultra 5G ...

My problem got SOLVED for the static noise. I had to buy NEW originaL akg EARPHONES and the static noise while using mic was gone.. but make sure to TEST it before paying

I got the same issue with those crackling sound or whatever it is that distorted it when it comes to call by using the speaker.

What i did was to change the settings under adapt sound from media and call sound, changed to only media sound and crackling sound is gone and works like normally do.. hope that will help you..

Go to settings -> sound and vibration -> sound quality and effect -> adapt sound -> adapt sound for then tap ONLY MEDIA SOUND.

Try for yourself. See if it works!

My sound issue (statix noise) got fixed. I had to buy NEW headphones. And dont just buy it .. try it 1st!!!

Connect the NEW earphones, Open voice recorder app..blank record and listen if its fine. to The guy at the shop showed me 3 original akg earphones and only one of them worked fine ( zero static noise)

Same speaker problem for my Note 20 ultra too..thought to exchange but I did as u mentioned it worked like charm..Thanks for the information.
