Hi, i have purchased note 20 ultra 5G in Pakistan about a month ago. Since then i've been facing some issues like wifi automatically disconnecting on note 20 while its working fine on other device. Also sometimes when screen is locked i can't get a call, sometimes people try to call me 3, 4 times and then i am able to get the call.

What should i do? it feel like the retailer gave me a faulty device but i opened the box myself, what could be the issue?

boxes can be resealed and unless you have tools to hand to authenticate a seal like UV lights and more it's hard to tell I'd you got a repackaged device or maybe even a legitimate refurbished one.

there is however a problem in the UK With some phones purchased overseas particularly India and Pakistan.

I would recommend first trying to delete all network configurations then manually add the entire entry by finding your carriers information (simply Google Vodafone network settings etc) and see if that helps first.

that aside, you could of course contact samsung and enquire about the issue and they may have an answer. it could be a regional issue with the bands supported.

hope you get it working!

As a process of elimination try your sim card in another phone and then see what happens.

Sim cards can fail and then need replacing.

Remove any relevant sd card as a malfunctioning one can cause issues.

If you feel the phone is at fault even after checking everything is updated i.e software then try Safe Mode.

Put the phone in Safe Mode which disables your downloaded app's but let's your stock app's keep working. If the issues stop then this highlights a downloaded app as the possible issue. Come out of Safe Mode and start deleting your most recent downloaded app's one at a time until it stops. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

Another generic troubleshooting tip is to clear the phone's System cache files.

Clear your phone's System Cache Files by turning your phone Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone's System Files and clear the cache. No information is lost this way. You may need to insert your headphones or hook upto a computer with your data cable to get to this menu on the phone.

If nothing works even a factory reset then ask the seller for a new phone @Ashariqbal
