No this hasn't happened to my N20 Ultra.
Are you looking in your myfiles section ?
Where files can be checked and deleted.
One extreme option could be to back up and factory reset after backing up and removing any relevant sd card.
Also hooking upto a computer and removing files that way.
For example i use a MBA so use Android Transfer.
