Galaxy Note20 SeriesHad my note 20 ultra 3 days and the fingerprint sensor just about registered my finger when I set it up, thought I might have just been doing a bad job at it - fast forward to today and for the past 24h the fingerprint sensor has totally given up. Not able to scan ANY finger from ANYONE, tried multiple times, force reboot, and now ultimately factory reset.
Told by Samsung support that I'm eligible for a replacement, however I may have to be without a phone for more than 5 days?? Been with Apple since the iPhone 4, and now my first step in to Android ownership and this is the service I get.. great first impression.
Anyone else experience similar issues with the fingerprint sensor? Or Samsung replacements ?
Thanks

Galaxy Note20 SeriesIf the phone's fps has failed then it's best to get it replaced via any cooling off period @Members_ALq5X08
Unfortunately technology can and will fail and in some cases people can end up with a lemon !
I've had the same with a few phone's including iPhone's.
It happens.
I wish you all the best with this.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Galaxy Note20 SeriesJust opened my 2nd brand new Note 20 Ultra after someone tried to sell me a blacklisted handset and I'm getting the same message saying that the fingerprint sensor isn't working and if it keeps happening to restart phone...which obviously doesn't fix things. Looks like another return 😠
