note 20 ultra battery issues

Having terrible battery drain when the phone is not even in use and no background apps. My note 10 plus never had this issue. Last night I went to bed with 26 percent at 10 pm and at 6am this morning the phone was dead

Same problem here. Buying note 20 ultra is big and costly mistake that we did. Still my a30 is better than note 20 ultra.

Can you tell me what that MDE service is?  It dries the battery hard.

To update on this, things are even better on the Jan 2021 release. 10% lower battery, but this time 14h of YouTube music and nearly 4h screen on time. Seems like this is the version of the software the device should have launched with. Just make sure you turn off 5G unless you live in a 5G area. Seems to be a real battery hog otherwise.

my note 10 plus battery life is a piece of garbage. 92% to 78% within 37 minutes. the only apps I used is Spotify, upday news and abit of bus map to check my bus time. my previous note 9 did the same bloody thing but worst.

I think the battery drain issue is a problem where the battery loses track of the actual charge that remains.  I have been at 1% for over four hours doing everything normally and the phone hasnt shutoff.  There should be a way to recalibrate the battery just like one can do with a notebook battery.   I am leaving my phone on to see how long it will last at 1%.

My phone has been on 1% for well over 12 hours now. With normal usage. 120hz screen, no power savings but aod off.  The battery charge tracking is completely off.

Update:  so i let the phone run on 1% for well over 24 hours, with me playing music, streaming videos and using other apps.  The phone died after 27 hours.  When i tried to power on, it said 0% and showed a plug on the screen.  I charged wirelessly for about 1.5 hours and then used the phone.  It dropped down to 80% in like ten minutes, but then stabilized at 80%. I charged again to 100% and so far the battery is functioning normally now.  Some how it lost track of the charge. But it seems fine now.  There should be a way to "reset" the battery like what can be done on laptops when the chip that tracks amperes malfunctions

samsung galaxy note ultra 20 5g is a complete waste of money I completely regret buying this phone, my previous phone a cheap moto at £100 out preformed this crapy note I was paying all this money for something better then I had.the fact the battery is complete ***** and always need charging I use it for hardly anything and it constantly needs changing what am I paying for I would never of bought this phone if I knew what I knew now I can't wait for this phone to be changed, if this is the best phone samsung can make we'll take it as a gentle reminder never to buy another samsung mobile after this and couldn't suggest this phone to someone else to buy

The battery is so horrible I have to charge my phone 2-3 times a day. It definitely feels like a waste of money.
