note 20 ultra battery issues

Having terrible battery drain when the phone is not even in use and no background apps. My note 10 plus never had this issue. Last night I went to bed with 26 percent at 10 pm and at 6am this morning the phone was dead

I have noticed this too! My Note 10 plus had longer battery life. The note 20 ultra is rubbish for the price. I prefer my note 10 plus. Hence, why I am returning it.

My battery was draining due to Google Messages... very strange.

It looks like the initial firmware of the phone (ATGx) has some issues with Doze in general. The 0day update (ATHx, specifically ATH3 in the UK, your region might receive a different ATH build) seems to fix this, and I've got about ~2 hours more screen on time (almost 7 hours instead of the previous 4.5-5), and Doze seems to kick in properly, reducing the overnight drain.

Is there a specific reason you're using Google's Messages app instead of the stock Samsung one?

I found the Samsung one to be much better regarding features (categories, better RCS, altogether better experience), and I've been a die-hard Google Messages fan since they've added RCS support.

It's going to be interesting to hear how we all set up our phone's preferences differently which does have a direct impact on battery life.

We all have different usage habits, phone settings and features preferences settings, apps, app preferences settings, widgets , network signal and charging habits.

I always make use of optimisation settings and I don't game on my phone's.

Personally my phone is off at night and charging.

Many created posts on how their Samsung Note10 + 5G battery was dismal yet personally mine has always lasted a day easily and would last two if needed which has been the same from launch day.

Also a phone's battery reaches optimal output after a few recharges and discharges and on the phone learning the person's usage habits and everything settling down.

When I receive my Note 20 Ultra I'll have 28 days to decide to keep it or not. If the battery isn't performing well enough for my usage habits then I'll send it back.

battery draining is a common issue among smart phones from years , please comment about the foggy camera and also dust in the camera lenses because im about to spend 1.05 lack indian rupees

Anybody else disappointed with battery 

Day 2 and yesterday got 2hrs 20mins sot setting up phone before I got to 5% battery 

Today I've just hit 50% battery usage with little over 2hrs sot 

Coming from iPhone 11 pro max this is terrible id be on 90% battery 

Hoping it gets better but can't see it and seriously considering sending the phone back and waiting for the 12 pro max 🙄 

Don't want to root device when possible to get better battery as I'll lose my Samsung pay which I will need

Quite disappointed as I'm.enjoying my galaxy watch 3

Do you have your battery optimised in settings ?

Do you use widgets ?

Do you game ?

How many times have you discharged and re charged the battery since using it ?

I've been keeping an eye on people's posts on what there experiencing but it's difficult as we all use different apps, apps preferences, phone settings, phone preferences , AOD, phone signal etc.
