Has anyone else had an issue with their new Note 20 Ultra 5G constantly rebooting by itself?
Took delivery of brand new Note 20 Ultra 5G last Thursday which arrived from the Samsung store.
Set it up and noticed that it kept rebooting when it wasn't being used. Followed Samsung self help... cleared cache partition, restarted with same issue... safe mode but still same issue... factory data reset without loading any apps and still same rebooting issue.
I can't see any other posts that refer to self reboot issues with the Note 20 Ultra 5G so maybe it's a one off, but it seems strange, straight out of the box.
Contacted support today who offered refund after a couple of frustrating hours on hold / live chat / disconnection more calls and emails. Will take the refund but would have preferred a working phone as the design is really nice. Not sure whether to chance ordering a replacement as customer service was a pretty poor experience.

I switched to the note because my s9 had the permanent water damage symbol which was bogus. Something needs to happen in the Quality control dept and its all software related. Samsung used to be reliable however Im really thinking of switching over to apple after these last 2 phones.

I returned my note to the store where I bought it (Movistar Store in Argentina). Incredibly they wanted the quarantine to end so I could just take it to a Samsung technical service.
I went through the whole Galaxy family (S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8 ... Note 10 ... Note 20), the waste of time they put me through arguing on the phone, by chat, by email made me rethink the next purchase. I doubt it is with Samsung

Mines restarting at around the same time time early morning when I'm sleeping. I know it's a restart because of the uptime and I also don't have auto restart enabled. Also it asks for sim card pin.

I'm a note 20 ultra user from The Philippines. Same issue are being experience here. Aside form the random reboot, the apps are also keep on stopping, battery drained easily and signal lost most of the time. Regarding signal, I'm also using my note 9 with the same provider, only Note 20 lost the signal. Hopefully, the next security patch can address all these problems.

Try turning off Bixby routine. I have tried that and hasn't restarted in a day. Fingers crossed.
This random restart is really annoying. Battery is so weak compared to my note 10 plus after patch upgrade. This problem relatively started after I upgraded the patch when I unboxed the phone. I had full network bars before and now 2 network bars and *****ty battery life.
Samsung so called SWAT team is not helping. This was a bad decision to upgrade to Note 20 Ultra.

So mine was randomly rebooting also, no rhyme nor reason. Rebooting randomly.
Set it up in Safe Mode and after about 12 hours of uptime inSafe mode it also rebooted , this time it rebooted whilst I was scrolling on the screen and I saw it. Before it would occur when not being used.
Dud unit , manufacturer date 7/29 made in vietnam.
