Need access to zoom lens in Filmic, mcpro24fps, others

I previously used the iPhone and recently picked up the Note 20 Ultra. I am very disappointed that third party applications cannot access the 5x zoom lens! The iPhone 12 Pro Max shows just how good phone video can now become! We must have support for Filmic Pro, mcpro24fps or the iPhone 13 is my future phone!

Samsung must support third party camera software completely, including ability to use all lens and all frame rates. Must have access to 4k 60fps, high bitrate (200mbps) and even better to have 8k video access in 10bit 100mbps bitrate!

Wrong way around, it is Filmic's app so it is up to them to compile it to work on a device. Contact them for support.

Not sure if you have ever developed an app before, you cannot (should not) directly access the device but should only call on a properly exposed API. This is important for security so that 3rd party apps do not turn on cameras or microphones without the users explicit permission.

It is the responsibility of Samsung to properly expose all lens, frame rates, etc. They have not done that with the latest Android 11 API that now is more strict on platform and user security.

This is not Filmic Pro job, they only can use what Samsung makes available.

Apple previously did not do a great job of exposing the camera, but now they clearly are beating Samsung on allowing 3rd party apps. For Samsung to remain competitive, they must also expose more capability to 3rd party apps.

The story is the same with zyun app. I already contacted them. Samsung doesnt provide the necessary info to be able to use all the feature of the phone in the zhyun app.
