Can you start via a soft reboot by turning your phone Off and On and consider ejecting the sim card too @Anonymous User

Hi. Make sure the message centre number has not changed. It's different for monthly plans vs pay as you go.

Thank you to all for your advice. I changed network then changed back to my network and I have received all the messages I did not get. so I am hoping it is back to normal.
