How can I view the notification log/history?

How do you view notifications that you've swiped away? It's pretty easy to access it on other phones, but can't seem to find it on the Note 20.

Doesn't Samsung have a native way to do this? Seems like a HUGE security flaw to give a 3rd party app access to my notification logs!! I definitely wouldn't recommend that. 

Any way to do this natively in Samsung? Lot of other phones have an easy way to access this.

Samsung have added this feature on Android 11 with One UI 3.0 to see previous notifications you go to settings > notifications > advanced settings > notification history

There is no "advanced setting" under notifications on my Note 20

The notification never open though, correctly. It just opens the base app like gmail without opening the actual email. Is that expected ?
