Right I've seen a few people now saying the update has made there battery worse and not just in hear also on a few Samsung n20u Facebook pages too. Its happening in different countries too not just the uk. So my question is why is this happening a software update that states will help battery but all its done is make it worse. The people that have bought this phone are not only disappointed but feel cheated it off there hard earn cash for what a phone that is plagued with problem's I for one think its about time Samsung take responsibility for this garbage and get it sorted ASAP. They need to get a proper update that does actually help or give people a replacement handset even if they are out within there 28 days. This is there mess and they have just literally hiding away in a corner from it. Id appreciate if even a Samsung mod would comment and acknowledge the fact that this is a wide spread problem instead of our falling on deaf ears.

Have you performed the update i mentioned in my thread here @Julie84 New-galaxy-note-20-ultra-update-includes-battery-life or another update?

Right now I'm on the 1st September 2020 update and in accordance with my usage habits I can easily get 2 days out of it but I submit screen on time is a subjective topic as we all use our phone's differently with different apps and preferences with other differences in the mix too.

I wholeheartedly agree that the phone should be performing as it should be and would urge anyone reading your post and others posts to send a Bug Report  direct to Samsung via their Members App.  That way the feedback gets straight to the relevant department.

These phone's are expensive to say the least so should be providing the user with a reasonable user experience.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Putting the phone in Safe Mode disables the downloaded apps and leaves the stock apps working which is a good self help troubleshooting tip to rule out rogue app(s)
