Click sound - middle back camera adjusting

Hi,

I have notice since the first day I got my Ultra, that the back middle camera clicks like it is adjusting evrytime I get my phone or have it in my hand.

I can actually see the camera adjusting if I look at it.

Moving the phone up side down I can actually see the camera moving a bit and then I adjusts doing the click sound. I also noticed that the middle camera is not always centered with the glass protecting the glass.

Can you give me your feedback about your phone? Is this normal and is this on all Ultras?

(Will try to get some pics to post here)

Thanks.

Hello @alal,
Just as @Sam1234582629 said, it is quite normal and nothing to worry about.
This topic has been brought up a number of times, so check out the comments there.

It is the design of the Auto Focus function.
The Camera Module is apparently suspended over the image sensor and is moved along the face of the image sensor to automatically adjust the focus. This operation also produces the accompanying clicking sound.

The Auto Focus function is exactly what you are observing when you are looking at the phone and you see the movement.

The design also incorporates a "stopper" within the Camera Module to limit the movement of the lens.
Shaking the phone therefore, causes the lens to contact the "stopper", hence the noise that you hear when you shake the phone.
I hope this makes sense. Lol...!
