I had my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G since launch and noticed some weird problems when testing the device. I noticed that most when I zoom in when making photo's the camera does not switch at the right zoom level to the telescope camera.
When I zoom in from 1.0x to 9.9x you clearly see that the camera uses digital zoom all the way. When I hit the 10.0x zoom you see the screen change to a much sharper image. The problem is, the telescope camera is 5.0x zoom. This means I need to zoom that camera x2 to see a sharp image which is not how it should be...
I also noticed that one in 100 times the zooming works correctly. The other 99 times it doesn't. I waited and waited but after the few updates I've gotten over the past months, it is still not fixed. Below I posted a video of proof that this is not correct and should be fixed.

I have always had a problem with the 5x camera, I noticed this morning that even without touching the screen that the camera would use optical zoom for a couple of seconds and then switch to digital zoom and become very blurry. I am very frustrated with this problem and hope that there is a fix.

I have the same problem. There has been another thread about the same issue and it is marked as solved. Since they are saying that when low light it uses the main sensor, but in good light it uses the 5x zoom. But for me it is my choice if I want a dark sharp photo or a grainy light phot. Please fix it Samsung, since it is not possible to use tele photo lens in pro mode either.
