Camera Zoom x5 tricks you !!!

Please note that he camera on Note20 Ultra 5G tricks users! SAMSUNG, Please update camera app!!!! Please give user control !!!! 

Sometimes when user clicks x5, camera uses 14.2mm lens but sometimes camera just do digital zoom x5. Most of time it is digital zoom. The quality difference is huge and user have no control over it !! Shame!

SAMSUNG please know:

1.When user click "x5" he/she needs to know if it is lens or digital.

2.User should choose what to use. Please fix camera app! 

Attached phots shot with "x5" zoom clicked. I had NO control over it. I switched a lot between lenses to get this two variations, most of time camera forcing digital zoom on me.

x5 - camera decided to use 14.2mm zoom lens

x5 - camera decided to use main lens and digitally zoom in

I'd read it's something to do with the lighting. It will digitally zoom in when it decides there is low lighting as this camera is supposedly better at the low light capture rather than the optical zoom.

You're right though it definitely seems to switch to the digital zoom too easily if this is the case.

exactly. but what's the point of having 3 lenses and not be able to choose which one to use.
we all bought the phone with 3 lenses, but samsung decided that we are not smart enough to choose which one to use.
