Spotify on Note 10+ and new ative watch 3

I have just purchased a new active watch 3 which is great and it works well with my Note 10+, however I have  a problem 

It looks like the panel on my phone is locking to the last track played and this happens everytime I use Spotify. The only way to clear it its to 'clear data on the app but that means I have to sign in again which is a pain

How can I fix this issue any ideas

Fellow members just reaching out to see if anyone has any updates on this issue. I can't believe I am the only one experiencing this.
Samsung tec team do you have any suggestions here?

not sure if relevant. spotify interrupts playing and starts again every few minutes, it is very annoying. i suspect it is relevant to the 'connect' application i have for my garmin 'smart watch' venu sq..  does anybody know whether the two clash?
