Cannot search calendar A42

I can't search my calendar for events. I saw a reference to tapping top right hand corner but there is no search icon. Advice appreciated.

delete the calendar app and reinstall it would be my first port of call

Thanks. I’ve now found out how to do this. Click on hamburger and scroll to the very bottom,  where search option is to be found.
