Is it possible to transfer data from 256gb to 128gb phones, and if so would I be able to choose what I can keep and not keep on the 128gb device.

Only for temporary period.

Need urgent solutions, and can't really find anything on google or youtube from few searches.

Depending on what devices they are then you've a few options:
- if both have a MicroSD Card slot then you could get a 256GB card and backup the 256 content to that. It would then be accessible in the 128 device.
- use SmartSwitch to transfer data between the 2 devices. SmartSwitch allows you to choose what you want to transfer over so you can transfer over only what you wanted.
- Purchase a USB-C memory stick and use SmartSwitch to backup the 256Gb handset to that (which will give you a full backup external backup) then use SmartSwitch to restore which data you want to the 128gb device. Advantage of this is you'll have a separate backup of all your data on the stick.

Hi!

You can use Samsung Smart Switch to transfer over to your new phone but you need to do your homework before this on your old device. So in other words you need to clean the 256GB one to reach 128GB to accommodate the new one with a smaller capacity.

Or you can use Smart switch to backup your storage on a pc and then restore on the device again, if you don't really need them on the temporary device. That way you don't have to go through and delete any.
