Look in Settings 》 Notifications 》 Status Bar 》 Ensure it's toggled to On.
Perhaps try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On or something similar to Press and hold the 'Power' and 'Volume Down' buttons until the phone restarts.
Can you put the phone in Safe Mode which disables any downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones Live and then see if it returns @Mattmam
Do you have the Goodlock App downloaded.
