My Galaxy Edge 7 kept a record of how many seconds it rang when I wasn't able to answer it.
Please bring this back for ALL Samsung phones. It is extremely helpful in the following ways:
1) It helped me to prove an engineer was
failing to attend my appointments. He claimed he rang me an hour in advance to tell me he was on his way. He didn't, so I asked for proof of the phone call, which of course they didn't provide.
The next time, he rang for 1 second then he ended the call, so that this call would show up on his log and he could provide proof.
As my call log used to include the seconds, I was able to send a screenshot of the call details to the company showing he only rang for 1 second so he could provide proof.
***Apologies for the long answer. I wanted to illustrate how helpful the seconds are in phone call logs***
2) I am now receiving scam / nuisance phone calls that ring for 1 or 2 seconds then hang up without leaving a voicemail. I assume this is so I can phone back to see find out why they called. Then they'd have confirmation that my phone number is in use
If my phone rings out of earshot, I won't know if it's a legitimate call and if I should return the call as I won't know how long it ran.
